The Kine Croft is a beautiful open space in the center of Wallingford, home to annual events such as Bunkfest, the Classic Car Rally and Bonfire Night. A regular spot for local dog walkers, with plenty of dog bins dotted around, lots of space for your pup to run, and a pub just off the green.
Parking
There is local paid parking within walking distance, but the park itself does not have dedicated parking.
Queenford Lakes is a nature reserve managed by The Earth Trust. Offering a 2.5 km walk around the lakes and picturesque views over the water. With some of the walk being on grassy areas, it’s a good idea to check the weather and make sure you wear appropriate footwear. You’ll need a pass to walk round the lake, but this can be purchased in The Wandering Kitchen and is refunded when you spend £10 in the café.

Free parking is available at Queenford Lakes Watersports Centre and is accessible just off Burcot Lane.

Wallingford Castle Meadows, a short walk from Wallingford Center, is a picturesque destination for dog walkers. Visitors can view the remains of Wallingford Castle, built in the 11th century, and learn about its history while enjoying a beautiful stroll.
Thames Loop Wallingford takes you down to each side of the Thames, crossing the the river twice over Wallingford Bridge and Winterbrook Bridge. If you’re local this could mean a walk right from your front door. With Wallingford Town just off route, there’s plenty of refreshments stops available.
Part of the Chiltern area of outstanding natural beauty, Bones Wood is a large wooded area with many established paths running through it, perfect for dog walkers. A short drive from Wallingford to Binfield Heath and you and your pup will be in for a beautiful woodland walk before finishing up with a coffee and cruffin, or burger at the Bottle & Glass Inn Barn. You’ll find a footpath next to the barn, leading to Bones Wood to the left, and a woodland footpath if you continue ahead.
