A short walk from Wallingford Center, you and your pup will be in for a beautiful walk through Wallingford Castle Meadows. The remains of Wallingford Castle, which was built in the 11th century, can still be seen today. The ruins provide a glimpse into Wallingford’s past and offer dog walkers a chance to learn about the castle’s history whilst out for a walk.
Parking
Paid parking is available in Wallingford Center, which is just a short walk to the Meadows. Or there is limited free parking just off Castle Street. From Wallingford center, head down Castle Street and take a right just past the cemetery, following the sign for “Castle Meadow”.
